What is Common Rail? Well, whether it’s TDi, TDCi, HDI or CRDTI nearly all modern diesel engine road vehicles use Common Rail fuel systems. The term “Common Rail” is a reference to the fuel system high pressure fuel rail. This acts like a pressure vessel in that it stores and supplies fuel for the fuel injectors, which in turn deliver the fuel to the engine.
Vehicle manufacturers are under constant pressure to produce vehicles that can not only meet stringent emission regulations but deliver improved drivability and economy. Common rail fuel systems and the advancement in vehicle electronics allow these targets to be met.
Fuel Injection Services are able to carry out test and repair procedures to all Delphi, Denso and Bosch Common Rail.
